BoG schools police on financial stability in Ahafo region
Officers of the Ahafo Police Command have been sensitised on financial stability at the Goaso Municipal Assembly hall on Tuesday, 4 February 2020.
The Deputy Chief Manager, Mr. Augustine Amoako Donkor and the Assistant Manager Mr. Richardson Arthur Yeboah took turns to take the Officers through banking services, consumer rights and responsibilities, mechanism guidelines, disclosure and product transparency, rules for credit products and services.
Officers were also advised to do due diligence by reading and understanding before appending their signature on all documents from the financial institutions.
They were also urged to help eradicate money laundering cases from the country by investigating deeply into the predicate offences.
In attendance were the Deputy Regional Commander ACP Mr. Andrews Boadu Ekumah, District Commander Mim C/Supt. Mr. Richard Salifu Anaba, Regional Crime Officer C/Supt. Mr. Augustine Anyarah and other Senior Police Officers.
