C/R: Kasoa residents worry about negative tag

Residents of Kasoa in the Central Region have voiced concerns over the negative perception some Ghanaians hold about their community, attributing it to the area’s lack of development.
They believe that with increased development, Kasoa’s image could be uplifted.
They argued that underdevelopment of the area is the bane of the negativity that characterized the area.
They stressed that the area seems neglected in terms of security and human development
The residents aired their views when John Dramani Mahama, the flagbearer of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), kicked off his Central Regional campaign tour.
Mr Mahama's tour began at Kasoa in the Awutu Senya East Constituency.
Speaking with Class 91.3 FM's news, some of the residents expressed confidence in Mahama, saying they believe he would prioritize development in Kasoa and the country at large if elected to office in January 2025.
