CETAG suspends strike
The National Council of the Colleges of Education Teachers Association Ghana (CETAG) has said it will comply with the National Labour Commission’s (NLC) directive to call of its strike.
The action is to pave way for negotiations to bring fatality to all issues in dispute within two weeks and report back to the Commission on Wednesday, 8 February 2023.
To this end, the leadership of CETAG has called on its members to resume work with immediate effective.
CETAG resumed their strike on January 6, 2023 over failure to pay their conditions of service, payment of compensation for all year round work for 2021-2022 academic year.
