COVID-19: 3K cases not looking good; stop giving us false hope – Minority
The Minority in Parliament has said the number of cases of the Coronavirus pandemic in Ghana is not looking good for the country.
The opposition lawmakers have, therefore, asked the government to stop giving Ghanaians false hope and face the reality.
The number of COVID-19 cases in Ghana has reached 3,091, according to the latest update of the Ghana Health Service.
The number of recoveries has also increased to 3030. Meanwhile, the death toll still remains 18.

At a press conference on Thursday, 7 May 2020, Minority Leader Haruna Iddrisu, said: “Government should desist from selling false hope of a situation under control and using its management of information as a cover for this farce”.
“That insults the intelligence of Ghanaians. We are at 3,000 and you say that we should wait, all is well. All was not well when we were at 200 and 300 [cases]. How can it be well at 3000 [cases] and counting?”
