Coronavirus: Ghana’s Embassy in Italy suspends consular services

The Ghana Embassy in Italy has suspended its consular services following the outbreak of the novel Coronavirus in that country.
A statement from the Embassy of Ghana in Italy said: “The Embassy of the Republic of Ghana regrets to inform that due to the outbreak of coronavirus in Italy, consular services to the general public will be suspended with immediate effect until further notice. The embassy regrets any inconvenience that this may cause.”
Italy has reported 650 coronavirus cases and 21 deaths, the highest in Europe.
On Friday, the World Health Organization (WHO) warned that the spread of the virus is "getting bigger".
Over 83,000 people have been infected worldwide.
