ECG restores CLOU payment server

The Electricity Company of Ghana has announced the restoration of its CLOU payment server.
“The Electricity Company of Ghana wishes to inform all customers on the CLOU Prepayment Metering System that the maintenance works on the server is completed and the server is fully restored,” a public notice from the company on Friday, 26 January stated.
Hence, customers on the CLOU Prepayment Metering System can now purchase electricity.
ECG had announced emergency maintenance works on the CLOU Prepayment Metering System’s server.
According to ECG, customers with CLOU prepaid metres installed on their premises could not purchase electricity within this period from Thursday,25 January, from 1 am to Friday, 26 January from 1am to Friday, 26 January 10 am.
It, therefore, advised all CLOU prepaid customers to purchase enough credit that will last for the period of the downtime.
