Exhibition of voters register to take place from August 20-27

The Electoral Commission (EC) has rescheduled the date for the exhibition of the Provisional Voters Register.
The EC announced this in a letter addressed to the main opposition National Democratic Congress’ (NDC) General Secretary, dated Wednesday, 12 June 2024 and signed by Deputy Chairman of Operations at the Commission Samuel Tettey.
In view of the Mop-up Voters Registration Exercise scheduled to take place from Thursday, 1 August to Saturday, 3 August 2024, the date for the Exhibition of the Provisional Voters Register has been rescheduled to take place from Tuesday, 20 August to Tuesday, 27 August 2024.
According to the EC, this is to ensure that “we have a one-time Exhibition Exercise.”
It added that the Modalities for the Mop-up and the Exhibition Exercises will be “discussed at an IPAC Meeting.”
