First anniversary of Rawlings’ death to be held 12 Nov.
The first anniversary of the passing of late President Jerry John Rawlings will be held on Friday, 12 November 2021 the family has announced.
There will be a remembrance mass at the Holy Spirit Cathedral, Adabraka, on 12 November.
“Friends, sympathisers and members of the public are invited to participate in the remembrance mass which will commence promptly at 9am,” a statement from the family said.
Attire for the occasion is white.
Due to Coivid-19 requirements, the Holy Spirit Cathedral will host a limited number of congregants. Seating will thus be on first come, first served basis.
President Jerry John Rawlings passed away at the Korle Bu Teaching Hospital on Thursday, November 12, 2020 after a short illness.
