The Management of Ghana Airports Company Limited (GACL) has informed the public "all passenger facilitation" and "operations" at Terminal 3 at the Kotoka International Airport (KIA), Accra, "have resumed smoothly".
GACL said this in a letter dated Sunday, September 22, 2024.
Also, GACL confirmed, on the date above, "at approximately 3:27pm, a passenger’s luggage was detected to be emitting smoke at the baggage wrap area at the Departure Hall, Terminal 3, KIA".
"The passenger has been handed over to the National Investigations Bureau (NIB) for interrogation," it indicated.
