The Ghana Grid Company (GRIDCo) Limited has held a kick-off meeting with Hitachi Energy Switzerland Limited to upgrade the Corporate Scada Network Manager System and Telecommunication Network for the company.
The Project which is expected to stretch on for a duration of 12 months will be managed by the relevant GRIDCo Stakeholder Departments.
When completed, the Project is expected to enhance the flexibility, reliability and cost-efficiency of GRIDCo’s operations with increased bandwidth on its telecommunication network.

The upgrade would also ensure the full operationalisation of GRIDCo’s Wide Area Network (WAN) to support the delivery of the Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system and other services including CCTV to work as expected to facilitate security, reliability and accurate data gathering in a prompt manner.
