The Jehovah’s Witness organisation has begun extending invitations to all persons, irrespective of their status, race, gender, age, sex, to attend the 2019 observance of Christ’s death.
The global event for this year is expected to take place in the various Kingdom Halls and other designated places on the 19th of April.
“On the night before he died, Jesus told his followers to commemorate his death. He said: ‘Keep doing this in remembrance of me’” —Luke 22:19, the invitation stated.
It added: “Please join us for the annual observance of the death of Jesus Christ. This year, it will be held on Friday, 19 April 2019.”
Over fifteen million people around the world are expected to be in attendance.
