NPP MP escapes death in an accident
New Patriotic Party (NPP) Member of Parliament (MP) for Sehwi Akontombra, Alex Djornuboah Tetteh, has been involved in a car accident.
The crash is said to have happened on the Bibiani road when he was returning from an inaugural ceremony at Manukrom.
Constituency Secretary, Addo Harry, confirming the incident, said upon getting to Mines Junction an incoming Toyota Camry car made a forced turn.
The driver of the MP realised there were tricycles on the opposite lane and veering off would cause casualties to and therefore plunged the car into the bush.
No casualties were recorded.
