Nigerian High Commissioner calls on Otumfuo
The Nigerian High Commissioner to Ghana, Ibok Efe Ekwe Ibas, has paid a courtesy call on Otumfuo Osei Tutu II at the Manhyia Palace.
With a Nigerian delegation, the High Commissioner assured the Asante monarch of the Nigerian community’s commitment to promoting the ties between the two countries.
He was also grateful to Otumfuo for handling the Ghana-Nigeria trade issues in the Ashanti Region in a fatherly manner and said he has advised his countrymen and women to adhere to the Ghanaian regulations governing their trade in the country.
For his part, the Asantehene congratulated Ibok Efe Ekwe Ibas on his appointment and made a presentation to him as a sign of modesty.
