Nsawam Adoagyiri election petition: Court adjourn proceedings to Feb. 18

The legal battle involving Nsawam Adoagyiri MP, Frank Annoh-Dompreh, and the National Democratic Congress took a new turn as the MP failed to appear in court for the hearing of a petition filed against him.
At the hearing on Thursday, January 23, 2025, the presiding judge noted the absence of the MP and his legal representatives.
In response, the court directed that all necessary evidential means be employed to ensure that Mr. Annoh-Dompreh cannot deny receipt of the suit.
Following this directive, the case has been adjourned to February 18, 2025, allowing for due process to be followed.
In a statement issued by Noah Agbeko Dumenya, the NDC Constituency Secretary of Nsawam Adoagyiri, has urged all party members and supporters to remain united and resolute in pursuing the case.
"Let us stay united to pursue this case collectively. We shall overcome with oneness of purpose," the statement read.
