One-week observation for Ernest Yaw Kumi set for August 29
Preparations are underway for the one-week observation in honour of the late Ernest Yaw Kumi, late New Patriotic Party(NPP) Member of Parliament for Akwatia Constituency in the Eastern Region, scheduled for Friday, August 29, 2025, at the Akyem Wenchi Funeral Grounds.
The ceremony, themed “My Hero Lives On”, will begin at 7:00 a.m. and is expected to draw family members, friends, colleagues, political figures, and community members to pay their respects.
Mourners are requested to wear black and red attire in keeping with traditional mourning customs.
Further details regarding the funeral and burial arrangements are expected to be announced after the one-week observance
