Owusu Bempah to reappear in court today
The founder and leader of the Glorious Word Power Ministries International, Reverend Isaac Owusu Bempah, is expected to reappear in court today, Monday, 20 September 2021.
It is recalled that an Accra High Court on Wednesday, 15 September 2021 granted Owusu Bempah bail in the sum of GHS200,000 with two sureties.
The court had earlier remanded him and three others.
They were arrested last week during church service when a video recording of his gun-toting pastors threatening to kill Nana Agradaa went viral.
According to the police, when they went to his church to effect the arrest, Owusu Bempah’s junior pastors and some congregants assaulted some police officers who had to seek medical attention at the hospital.
They have been charged with offensive conduct conducive to breaching the peace, as well as threat of death and assault of public officers.
