RTP Awards: CMG founder Seidu Agongo, Accra FM news prog. receive awards
Class Media Group's (CMG) founder, Alhaji Seidu Agongo and Accra 100.5FM's ‘Accra Kasiebo’ have been recognised at the 2019 Radio and TV Personality (RTP) Awards.
CMG operates Class91.3FM (Accra), Accra100.5FM (Accra), No.1FM105.3 (Accra), Kumasi104.1FM (Kumasi), Ho92.5FM (Ho), Adehye99.1FM (Kumasi), CTV (Accra), ClassFMonline.com and AccraFM.com.
Mr Agongo received an honorary award while Accra 100.5FM's ‘Accra Kasiebo’ received the Radio News Programme of the Year award.
The award ceremony was held on Saturday, 12 October 2019 at the Accra International Conference Centre (AICC).
On-air personalities of Accra100.5FM, No.1 105.3 FM and Class91.3FM were among the nominees for this year's awards.
The host of Class91.3FM’s Executive Breakfast Show (EBS), Benjamin Akakpo, was nominated for the Best Radio Personality of the Year category while Accra100.5FM’s mid-morning show Ayeeko Ayeeko was nominated for the Radio Mid-morning Show of the Year category.
Additionally, Accra100.5FM’s Naa Atswei Oduro was nominated for the Development Show Host of the Year category.
