The General Superintendent of the Assemblies of God, Ghana, Rev. Stephen Wengam, together with his wife, Lady Mrs. Monica Wengam, has concluded the church’s 2025 Apostolic Visits with a final stop in the Upper West Region.

The visit officially marked the completion of apostolic engagements across all 24 administrative regions of the Assemblies of God, Ghana, underscoring the leadership’s commitment to spiritual renewal, pastoral support and church growth nationwide.

The concluding event was held on Monday, December 15, 2025, at the Revival Assemblies of God Church in Wa.

It was characterised by a three-hour non-stop prayer session led by Rev. Wengam, alongside preaching, renewal of marriage vows, and presentations to retired ministers, their spouses, as well as widows of deceased pastors and pastors’ wives.

Delivering a sermon titled “How to Transform Your Church into a House of Prayer,” Rev. Wengam emphasised that the church is fundamentally a place of communion between God and His people.

He urged pastors to intentionally train and equip their congregants to become intercessors and prayer warriors, stressing that a praying church is essential for spiritual vitality and transformation.

In her address, Lady Mrs. Monica Wengam, National President of the Ministers’ Wives Association, commended pastors and their spouses for their diligence and faithful stewardship in the ministry.

As part of a welfare support initiative, she presented fabric to each pastor’s wife and donated an undisclosed amount of money and fabric to retired ministers, their spouses, and widows.

The gesture, described as a personal project of Rev. and Mrs. Wengam, is aimed at supporting the welfare and well-being of pastors and their families across the country.
