Sir John to be buried Feb 25 at Sakora Wonoo
The former Chief Executive Officer of the Forestry Commission Kwadwo Owusu Afriyie a.k.a Sir John will be buried on Thursday, 25 February 2021 at Sakora Wonoo in the Ashanti region.
The funeral rites will take place at Sakora Wonoo junior high school after the burial from 1 pm to 6 pm.
Family gathering will be on Friday, 26 February 2021 at Sakora Wonoo junior high school from 1 pm to 6 pm.
Thanksgiving is on Saturday, 27 February at Sakora Wonoo Seventh Day Adventist Church from 9 am to 1 pm.
Sir John passed away on Wednesday 1 July 2020 at the Korle Bu Teaching Hospital.
Sir John became famous for the phrase 'fear delegates' after losing his re-election bid as a General Secretary of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) despite having been promised victory by the delegates.
