Heath Goldfields Limited has confirmed the deaths of three illegal miners who were trapped after entering an inactive section of its underground operations on the Prestea concession in the Western Region.

Reaffirming its commitment to safety, Heath Goldfields said it continues to enforce stringent security and safety protocols across its concessions to prevent illegal entry and protect human life.

The company assured traditional authorities, community members, regulators, and partners of its dedication to responsible mining, community engagement, and the protection of livelihoods.
