The national farmers' day is a yearly affair
Today, Friday, 2 December 2022, is Farmers’ Day.
The statutory holiday has been set aside to celebrate the country’s farmers.
Today's event is the 38th edition.
This year’s National Farmers' Day will be held in the Eastern Region on the theme: “Accelerating Agricultural Development Through Value Addition”.
Traditionally, it would be celebrated with a grand durbar and awards ceremony where President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo will confer national honours on best-performing farmers.
