Today's 'dumsor' due to rainstorm – ECG
The Electricity Company of Ghana (ECG) has announced that the heavy rainfall experienced today, Tuesday, 23 April 2024, has caused outages within its distribution network.
In a notice to customers in the Greater Accra Region, the ECG said its “Engineers are working assiduously to restore power supply to affected customers.”
It urged customers experiencing power outages within their areas to contact its call centre, report to the nearest ECG office or its social media handles.
The power-distributing company emphasised “any convenience caused due to this natural occurrence is very much regretted.”
