UE/R: Kusaug trad c’cil condemns attack on Accra-bound bus in Binduri

The Kusaug Traditional Council has expressed its dismay over the recent armed attack on a bus travelling to Accra in the Binduri District.
The incident, which occurred on Friday, 1 March 2024 near Kpalugu, involved unidentified gunmen targeting the bus and injuring three passengers.
According to reports, a police escort team intervened to manage the situation, but the assailants managed to flee before any arrests could be made.
No suspects have been apprehended in connection with the attack so far.
In response to the incident, the Kusaug Traditional Council in a statement issued on Sunday, 3 March 2024, dissociated itself from the violence and denounced it as a criminal act.
The council also stressed its commitment to assisting security agencies in their efforts to apprehend those responsible for the attack.
