UN Data Security Analysis Consultant calls on UN Peace Ambassador
The United Nations Security Analysis Consultant and his team have paid a courtesy call on Bishop Samuel Ben Owusu, the UN Peace Ambassador, who double as the Country Director of the International Association of World Peace Advocates.
The agenda for their visit was to have a discussion on national security and peace in the diaspora.
The leader of the delegation was Dr Keith E. Noble, CEO of Blackcloud Middle East.
Among the issues discussed include peace, data security and the uprising issues in Congo as well coup in Guinea.
Speaking at the meeting, Bishop Samuel Ben Owusu said: "Peace is not an option, but a necessity".
"The world is changing dramatically and we must adapt and stay relevant to the world."
He urged the government to support this initiative of peace campaign organised by recognised civil society groups to spearhead peace messages across the country.
He strongly condemned the coup d’état that occurred in Guinea describing the action as a clear violation of democracy and good governance.
He added that the Guinean coup should be a lesson to other African leaders.
