Yaw Acheampong Boafo is new GBA President
Mr Yaw Acheampong Boafo has been elected President of the Ghana Bar Association (GBA).
Mr Boafo is the outgoing National Secretary of the Ghana Bar Association(GBA)
He beat Efuah Ghartey, his only contender, in the competition.
Mr Boafo takes over from Mr Anthony Forson.
The election was held as part of this year’s Annual General Conference in Bolgatanga, Upper East Region.
In other related polls, Kwabena Amoako-Adjei beat Yaa Gyakobo to win the Vice-presidential position.
Mr Kwaku Gyau Baffour and Saviour Quarcoo Kudze, who went unopposed for the positions of National Secretary and Public Relations Officer, respectively, won.
Nana Serwa Acheampong was elected treasurer after beating Dr Adu Anani Antwi.
