Active COVID-19 cases fall to 2,410, death toll hits 740

So far, 740 people in Ghana have died of the virus since mid-March 2020

Ghana’s active COVID-19 cases have fallen to 2,410, according to the latest figures from the Ghana Health Service.

The death toll has, however, risen to 740.

Some 121 new cases were also confirmed recently.

Since mid-March 2020, a total of 90,287 cases have been confirmed in Ghana.

Out of that number, 87,137 have recovered.

Greater Accra Region - 49,859

Ashanti Region - 15,286

Western Region - 5,686

Eastern Region - 4,121

Central Region - 3,272

Volta Region - 2,346

Northern Region - 1,619

Bono East Region - 1,406

Bono Region - 1,310

Upper East Region - 1,301

Western North Region - 848

Ahafo Region - 700

Upper West Region - 483

Oti Region - 406

North East Region - 210

Savannah Region - 117
