Akufo-Addo addresses nation as COVID death toll hits 335

So far, 335 people have died of the disease in Ghana

President Nana Akufo-Addo is billed to address Ghanaians tonight, Sunday, 3 January 2020, at 8 pm on the coronavirus pandemic.

It will be his 21st national address since the disease was first detected in Ghana in mid-March 2020.

Ghana’s active COVID-19 caseload now stands at 905, according to the website of the Ghana Health Service.

The death toll is 335.

So far, the total number of confirmed cases stands at 55,168.

Out of that number, 53,928 have made a full recovery.

Some 104 new cases were recently confirmed.
