COVID-19: 5 more deaths take Ghana's fatality toll to 1,052
As of 30 August 2021, the latest figures from the Ghana Health Service indicated that the COVID-19 death toll had risen to 1,052.
Some 449 cases were also recorded within that period.
The active caseload stands at 6,940.
Out of that number, 60 are critical and 147 severe.
Since mid-March 2021, a total of 120,452 cases have been confirmed in Ghana.
Of that number, 112,460 have recovered.
