COVID-19 death toll now 280; active cases fall to 856

Ghana’s COVID-19 death toll has risen to 280 after four more patients succumbed as of today, Thursday, 3 September 2020, according to figures released by the Ghana Health Service (GHS).
Meanwhile, the active COVID-19 caseload has fallen from 904 to 856.
Only 55 new cases were confirmed recently.
This brings the total caseload to 44,713.
Out of that number, a total of 43,577 people have recovered and have been discharged.
