COVID-19 death toll rises to 1,083, active cases fall
As of 3 September 2021, Ghana’s COVID-19 death toll was 1,083, the latest figures from the Ghana Health Service (GHS) have indicated.
Some 420 new cases were also recorded within that period.
The active caseload has, however, fallen to 6,539.
Out of that number, 44 are critical and 126 severe.
Since mid-March 2020, a total of 122,157 cases have been recorded in Ghana.
Of that number, 114,535 have recovered.
