Ghana's COVID-19 death toll hits 206
Ghana has recorded seven more COVID-19 deaths to take the fatality toll to 206.
Also, 455 new cases confirmed recently, have taken the national tally to 40,097, according to the Ghana Health Service.
The GHS’ website said the new cases were reported on 4 August 2020.
“These are samples that were taken from the period 15 July to 3 August 2020”, the GHS said.
So far, 36,638 patients have recovered and been discharged.
The number of active cases stands at 3,253.
Out of that number, seven persons are said to be in critical condition with four of them on ventilators.
