992 new COVID-19 cases have been recorded in Ghana

The Texas Medical Association (TMA) has ranked activities such as working out at a gym, going to a bar and attending religious services with more than 500 people as having the highest risk of exposure to COVID-19.

The ranking put together by the doctors of the Texas Medical Association COVID-19 Task Force and Committee on Infectious Diseases, ranks the COVID-19 risks from low, moderate-low, moderate, moderate-high and high.

Meanwhile, Ghana has recorded 992 new COVID-19 cases taking the total national caseload to 21,077 as of Monday, 6 July 2020.

According to the Ghana Health Service, the new cases were part of samples taken between 18 June and 1 July 2020.

The total number of recoveries has increased to 16, 070.

The death toll has also shot up by seven to 129.

Currently, the total number of active cases is 4,878.
