KMA Clinic reopened after HeFRA closed it
Kumasi Metropolitan Assembly (KMA) Clinic has been reopened.
This followed the temporal closure of the medical facility by the Health Facility Regulatory Authority (HeFRA) on Tuesday, October 14, 2025.
According to a KMA statement, "the facility has since been re-opened and fully operational as of Wednesday, 15th October 2025".
Management of the KMA and the Metro Health Directorate explained "the closure was necessitated by licensing discrepancies which has since been resolved between the KMA and HeFRA".
They "sincerely" apologised for inconveniences caused by the closure of the KMA Clinic, appreciated "the cooperation and understanding of all stakeholders," and assured the public that they remained committed to providing quality and reliable health care services to the people of the metropolis.
