Lebanese Cultural Centre donates GHS100K worth of items to Korle-Bu
The spokesperson for the Centre, Nadine Jaber, said the initiative was borne out of love for children considering the fact that children are the most vulnerable in society.
Speaking to Class News after the donation exercise, Ms Jaber said their organisation has taken cognisance of the strenuous conditions under which staff of the Child Cancer Department go through, as health officials strive in their quest to deliver effective and quality healthcare to patients on a daily basis.
Ms Jaber promised that their charity organisation will continue to support the Korle-Bu Teaching Hospital as the facility keeps expanding with varied needs.
She revealed that their organisation procured the valuable equipment on the request of the hospital.
