NHIA denies recruitment of staff ahead of transition
The National Health Insurance Authority (NHIA) has dismissed circulating rumours regarding recent recruitment activities, describing them as baseless and unfounded.
In a statement issued on Monday, December 23, and signed by Chief Executive Dr. Da-Costa Aboagye, the NHIA clarified that all recruitment processes for the year 2024 were finalized in October.
The statement also addressed the Authority’s role in appointments and confirmations for director-level positions, emphasizing that such matters fall under the exclusive purview of the Public Services Commission.
The NHIA’s involvement, it noted, is limited to communicating the Commission’s decisions to applicants after receiving a full report.
The Authority urged the public to disregard any false claims or threats about purported last-minute recruitment activities.
It reaffirmed its commitment to transparency and strict adherence to established protocols in its operations.
