V/R: Adaklu MP opens 2 CHPS Compounds for constituents

The Member of Parliament (MP) for Adaklu Constituency in the Volta Region, Mr Kwame Agbodza, has opened two newly-built Community Health Planning and Services (CHPS) Compounds for two farming communities within his constituency.
People from Adaklu Dzakpo and Adaklu Vodze will benefit from the facility so they do not have to trek several miles to Ho to access healthcare services.
The second CHPS Compound at Adaklu Amuzudeve, is also to serve nearby residents in Adaklu Blidokofe, Adaklu Gavorkope and Adaklu Segbale.
A team led by the National Democratic Congress’ Adaklu Constituency Chairman, Mr Samuel Atomty Dorfe, handed over the facilities to the District Health Directorate on Wednesday, 29 April 2020.
In the brief handing over ceremony, the District Health Director, Mr Charles Azagba; the health workers, chiefs and elders as well as people of the communities, thanked the MP for the health facilities.
The team entreated the beneficiaries to maintain the facilities.
Mr Atomy indicated that a similar project is ongoing at Adaklu Wumenu.
