VR: Thousands join Ho92.5FM’s health walk
Ho92.5FM in the Volta Region, a subsidiary of the Class Media Group (CMG), has organised a health and fitness walk for its listeners in regional capital, Ho.
About 1,000 fitness enthusiasts converged on the Volta Regional Police Training School at about 5.30 a.m. on Saturday, 21 December 2019 for the walk which was held on the theme: “Walk for a healthy society”.
It was led by the Director of Ho FM, Togbe Ahorgo I.
The patrons walked through some principal streets of Ho, including the Central Market – Ola Senior High School traffic area, the Municipal Hospital – Glala street, 66 Artillery Junction to the Housing Estate; and back to the Police Training School park.
Some elders of the Asogli state, including Togbe Kasa III of Ahoe, also participated in the walk.
Refreshment was provided for the participants by Mellas Ventures and a free medical screening exercise was undertaken by the Ghana Aids Commission and Vitalis Clinic.
Part from Ho FM, CMG also owns Accra-based Class91.3FM, Accra100.5FM, No.1 105.3FM and CTV; as well as Kumasi-based Adehye FM and Kumasi FM
A similar event was also held in Kumasi and Accra by CMG’s subsidiaries in those two cities.
