#2020polls: Ursula retains Ablekuma West seat
Communication Minister Mrs Ursula Owusu-Ekuful has retained her parliamentary seat at the Ablekuma West constituency after Monday’s polls.
Mrs Owusu-Ekuful won the polls with 37,363 votes.
Her closest contender Reverend Kweku Addo of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) polled 30,733 votes.
The Ghana Union Movement’s (GUM) Henry Antwi followed with 359 votes, the Liberal Party of Ghana’s (LPG) Esther Nana Yaaba Dickson also polled 330 votes.
The People’s National Congress’ (PNC) Daniel Osekine Noye got 65 votes.
This is the third time, Ms Owusu-Ekuful will be representing the people of Ablekuma West in Parliament.
