2022 budget: NDC holds town hall meeting Nov 30
The National Democratic Congress (NDC) has announced plans to hold a town hall meeting on what it calls the 2022 “Awudie” budget statement.
The biggest opposition party sees the budget as being full of wickedness for Ghanaians.
The meeting, which will be the first in a series, comes off on Tuesday, 30 November 2021 at the Great Hall of the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST), Kumasi, at 1 pm.
This event is being organised under the auspices of the National Communications Bureau of the party and is intended to inform the general public about the content of the 2022 budget statement, what it means or holds for Ghanaians and the party’s position on it.
The programme is expected to be attended by the media and various stakeholder groups, who will have an opportunity to share their thoughts on the budget statement.
This was announced by the NDC in a statement signed by Mr Sammy Gyamfi, the national communications officer of the party.
