Adaklu MP assures NDC supporters of ballot protection during December polls
The Majority Chief Whip and Member of Parliament for Adaklu Constituency in the Volta Region, Mr. Kwame Governs Agbodza, has assured members and supporters of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) that the party will work tirelessly to protect the ballot and secure a decisive victory in the upcoming December elections.
Speaking to supporters at Ahunda in Adaklu as part of the Volta Regional campaign tour with NDC Vice-Presidential Candidate Prof. Jane Naana Opoku-Agyemang, Mr Agbodza voiced concerns over the Electoral Commission’s role but expressed confidence in the people's power to ensure victory.
“I don’t have confidence in the Electoral Commission, but she is not the one to win the election.
It’s the people here who will secure the victory. So whether she likes it or not, she will declare you and President Mahama as the next leaders of the country,” he told Prof. Opoku-Agyemang.
Mr. Agbodza also pledged that an NDC administration under John Dramani Mahama would bring further development to the Adaklu Constituency and urged constituents to vote massively for Mahama in the December 7 presidential election.
