Akufo-Addo consoles Rawlings on mum’s death

President Nana Akufo-Addo has said on Monday, 5 October 2020, “I paid a visit to the first President of the 4th Republic, His Excellency Jerry John Rawlings, to commiserate with him on the death of his mother”.
“The loss of a mother is always a special moment in the life of any person, as I can testify myself.
“I wish Madam Victoria Agbotui the very best of peace in the bosom of the Almighty until the Last Day of the Resurrection when we shall all meet again”, the President said.
Madam Victoria Agbotui died at the age of 101 at dawn on Thursday, 24 September 2020.
She celebrated her 101st birthday on September 9, 2020.
She was born on that day in 1919.
