Akufo-Addo starts 4-day Western, Western North tours today

President Nana Akufo-Addo is expected to start his tour of the Western and Western North regions today, Friday, 3 September 2021.
The president will travel around the two regions within four days.
Apart from his expected interactions with the chiefs and traditional leaders in those regions, the president is also going to cut sods for some projects.
Per an itinerary released by Issah Fuseini, the New Patriotic Party’s (NPP) Regional Director of Communications, on the first day of the visit, the president will pay a courtesy call on the Dompim Chief in his palace and later inaugurate the Narubizi Rubber Factory under the 1D1F in the Wassa East District.
Additionally, the president will call on the acting Paramount Chief of Shama at Yabiw in the Shama District.
He will also meet with the Nzema chiefs at Nzema Manle in Esiama in the Ellembelle District.
In the Shama District, the president will visit Keda Ghana Ceramics Company Limited in Aboadze, producers of Twyford ceramic tiles to inaugurate the third phase of the factory and also cut the sod for the commencement of the fourth phase.
The president, on day two, will inspect the Dixcove Landing Beach in the Ahanta West Municipality, cut the sod for the commencement of the Takoradi-Tarkwa road in Tarkwa, as well as inspect the construction of a Polyclinic at Bogoso in the Prestea-Huni Valley Municipality.
The president will also pay a courtesy call on the Chief of Wassa Akropong in his palace in the Wassa Amenfi East District and leave for Sefwi- Wiawso in the Western North Region.
