Alan Kyerematen unveils six new blueprints for Ghana’s development under his GTP

Mr Alan Kwadwo Kyerematen, the leader of the Movement for Change and an Independent Presidential Candidate endorsed by the Alliance for Revolutionary Change for the December 7 elections, has introduced a comprehensive six-part plan to rejuvenate Ghana under his Great Transformational Plan (GTP).
This initiative, intended as a new blueprint for the nation's development, encompasses six interconnected clusters: Economic, Governance, Infrastructure, Social Services, Environment, Science & Technology, Natural Resources, and Behavioral & Mindset Change.
During the launch of his GTP, Mr Kyerematen highlighted the economic challenges Ghana has faced over the past six decades.
These include severe fluctuations in economic performance due to structural vulnerabilities, which have hindered the country's progress from poverty to prosperity.
Despite various programmes and interventions supported by international multilateral and bilateral institutions, Ghana continues to struggle with economic decline, manifesting in high unemployment, inflation, unsustainable debt levels, high interest rates, and low foreign exchange reserves, he said.
To tackle these issues, the GTP's Economic Cluster proposes several fundamental policy reforms structured around three main pillars: The Macroeconomy, Industrial Transformation, and A New Agricultural Revolution, along with Tourism, he highlighted.
Mr Kyerematen’s plan aims to bring stability and growth, essential for transforming Ghana's economy and ensuring its prosperity.
