Amasaman MP marks one-year anniversary of election victory, pledges accelerated development
The Member of Parliament for Amasaman Constituency in the Greater Accra Region, Mr. Sedem Kweku Afenyo, has expressed profound appreciation to constituents as he marks exactly one year since his election victory on December 7, 2024. According to the lawmaker, the overwhelming confidence reposed in him continues to drive his commitment to development and responsive leadership in the constituency.
Mr. Afenyo, speaking on behalf of President His Excellency John Dramani Mahama, extended gratitude to God, the National Democratic Congress (NDC) fraternity in Amasaman, and all residents who supported his bid to represent them in Parliament.
He reaffirmed his dedication to ensuring that leadership in Amasaman reflects real progress and community-centred interventions.
“We assure you once again, it is not going to be business as usual. We are on the ground, working together to drive the needed development in our beloved Amasaman constituency,” he said.
The MP highlighted ongoing efforts aimed at improving living standards, infrastructure, and social welfare, stressing that no effort will be wasted in responding to the needs of the people.
Mr. Afenyo concluded with a message of gratitude to the constituents for their continued support and collaboration.
“Thank you, Amasaman!” he added.
