The party's office on fire

Some angry members of the governing New Patriotic Party (NPP) in the Aowin Constituency of the Western North Region, who are not happy with a decision by the National Executive Council to rerun a recent constituency election to elect new executives, have set the office on fire.

The earlier election was, allegedly plagued with irregularities.

The angry supporters will, however, have none of that.

But the supporters, who are unhappy about the decision, say they will resist any attempt for the elections to be reorganised.

Apart from Aowin, the Okaikoi South constituency poll of the party also experienced some chaos as 413 names of delegates got missing from the register.

Also, in Yendi, in the Northern Region, the process was halted over anomalies with the album.
