Ato Forson donates GHS125,000 worth of PPE to his constituency

The Member of Parliament for Ajumako Enyan Essiam, Cassiel Ato Forson, has donated GHS125,000 worth of items including PPE to 193 communities in his constituency, as part of his efforts to fight against the coronavirus outbreak in the country.
The items were presented on his behalf by the opposition NDC's Constituency Secretary, Andrews Kojo Doodu on Sunday, April 5.
They include 500 Veronica buckets, 20,000 hand sanitisers, nose masks, gloves, liquid soap and other things.
Andrews Doodu said the MP's priority is the health and safety of his constituents, adding that this is the third in a series of PPE donations by the MP.
The Paramount Chief of Enyan Denkyira, Osaberima Otsibu Kwaw VI, who received the donations on behalf of the people, thanked the MP and asked for God's blessing for him, saying that it was timely.
“The donation by the MP is timely, it will help in dealing with the COVIID–19. We thank him very much,” he said.
Ghana’s case count of the virus is now 214 with five deaths.
