B/R: Sunyani West MP donates 300 light poles to communities

The Member of Parliament (MP) for Sunyani West, Millicent Amankwah Yeboah, has donated 300 light poles to selected communities within the constituency.
The initiative was aimed at extending electricity to areas and villages currently not connected to the national grid, thereby enhancing development and improving the quality of life for residents.
Speaking to the media during the presentation, Ms Amankwah Yeboah noted the donation was in response to requests from traditional leaders and community members.
She reiterated her commitment to serving the people of Sunyani West and supporting development efforts across the constituency.
“As the MP for Sunyani West, I remain dedicated to the needs of my people. These poles will help bring electricity to communities still in darkness,” she said.
She further encouraged communal involvement in erecting the poles and called on all stakeholders to support the project.
A representative of Awuah Odumase and Odumase No. 1, who also spoke to the media, expressed gratitude to the MP for her timely support. He assured the communities would make effective use of the poles to ensure the successful extension of electricity.
