Bawumia completes campaign tour of 11 regions

The campaign team of Vice President and New Patriotic Party (NPP) flagbearer Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia for elections 2024 has announced the completion of his tour across 11 regions of Ghana.
According to Mr. Raymond Kumah; a Member of the Campaign Team, the Vice President’s campaign has been met with a warm and enthusiastic reception from the electorate.
He noted that the tour, which began in the Eastern Region, aims to break the eight-year political cycle.
‘’With five regions left to visit, the campaign team is on track to complete a tour of all sixteen regions across the country’’.
Mr. Kumah shared these details while discussing Dr. Bawumia’s campaign progress and the inauguration of the Kayayei hostel in Madina, Greater Accra Region.
Dr. Bawumia, moved by the plight of the Kayayei (female porters), has taken initiatives to support them.
Speaking on the Ghana Yensom Morning show on Accra 100.5 FM with Otafrigya Kayire Kwesi Appea-Apreku on Wednesday, May 22, 2024, Mr. Kumah revealed that the Vice President will be travelling abroad.
Upon his return, the campaign will resume and cover the remaining regions as scheduled.
Mr. Kumah expressed optimism that the natural affection shown by the electorate during the campaign will translate into votes in the upcoming December elections.
He highlighted Dr. Bawumia’s commitment to providing one million youth with opportunities in Information Technology, enabling them to earn a living from the comfort of their homes, similar to trends seen in other parts of the world.
