Bediatuo denies selling Arts Centre to private investor
President Nana Akufo-Addo’s Executive Secretary, Nana Asante Bediatuo, has denied selling the Accra Arts Centre to a private investor as allegedly being circulated, according to him, on social media by an anonymous woman.
In a statement, Mr Bediatuo described the claim by the woman that she facilitated a meeting between him and some chiefs in connection with the transaction as false.
“I wish to put on record that I have never met this unnamed, unidentified woman or the elders and the chiefs she claims she brought to meet with me”, the statement said.
“She does not state the date of the meeting, the place where the meeting took place and the names of the elders and chiefs who accompanied her to the alleged meeting.
“That is because the so-called meeting never took place, or, at least, not with me,” excerpts of the statements said.
