Bono East NDC communications congratulate Sammy Gyamfi on PMMC appointment

The Bono East Regional Communications Bureau of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) has extended its heartfelt congratulations to Mr Sammy Gyamfi on his appointment as the Managing Director of the Precious Minerals Marketing Company (PMMC).
In a statement signed by Suleman Mohammed-Mustapha, Regional Communications Officer, the Bureau described Gyamfi’s appointment as a well-deserved recognition of his hard work, commitment to duty, and excellent leadership.
"This feat has been achieved through hard work, commitment to duty, diligence, and results-oriented leadership, all of which have led to remarkable achievements," the statement read.
The Bono East NDC also expressed gratitude for Gyamfi’s unwavering support during the 2024 general elections, highlighting his contributions to logistical support and grassroots mobilization.
"We in the Bono East Region are always grateful for the provision of logistics to our Communications Officers and MPs/Parliamentary Candidates, which lifted our spirits towards achieving our AGENDA 11/11 MANTRA for the 2024 General Elections," the Bureau stated.
The statement further praised Gyamfi’s direct involvement in campaign efforts, noting his visits to communities across constituencies in the region.
"We vividly recall how you managed to join us in our region despite your busy schedule, travelling from community to community, campaigning for NDC Parliamentary Candidates and H.E. John Dramani Mahama," the statement added.
Gyamfi’s benevolence to communities such as Lemu, Kyeamekrom, and Bantema in the Sene West Constituency was particularly acknowledged for its impact in increasing the party’s electoral fortunes.
"Your support helped move the parliamentary vote difference from just 16 votes to 410 in favour of Hon. Ampofo Twumasi," the Bureau noted.
The Bureau expressed optimism that Sammy Gyamfi’s leadership at PMMC will bring transformation, particularly in the establishment of the Ghana Gold Board (GOLDBOD).
"We are confident that, under your leadership, the institutionalization of the Ghana Gold Board will see the light of day, contributing to national development through the Resetting Ghana Agenda," the statement said.
The Bono East NDC described Gyamfi as a transformational leader whose impact has already been felt within the party and the nation.
"Your leadership has revitalized the NDC’s Communications Bureau, leading to an unprecedented electoral annihilation of the NPP," the statement noted.
The Bureau concluded by celebrating Gyamfi’s achievements and wishing him success in his new role.
"You are indeed worth celebrating. Accept our heartfelt congratulations, Sir," the statement concluded.
